We live in a world in which there is awareness and also lots of unconsciousness. When the "misguided energies" rune comes into the reading, it brings a strong warning. It may be unconscious energies within or in the psyche of others. Free will allows us to choice how we wish.
There exists in the world of duality some energies that are misguided, manipulative, reactive energies which can be deceptive and destructive often with a desire for control and power over others. Misguided energies exist at various levels and often seem in opposition to Love and Peace and Empowerment for all.
It is good to look within and explore your own motivations. Even more so, it is recommended that you be keenly aware of the actions and motivations of other in regard to the inquiry at hand. We are always protected from unseen levels and it may be advisable to reinforce your energetic protection at this time.
The energies of Love and Kindness within are always more powerful than the misguided energies impacting the situation which may also be perceived as "evil' in some form. Surround yourself with Light and Love in relation to your situation.
