The air and sky of our planet provides essentials for life. There are the protective layers that keep some of the harmful things out and also provide a protect envelop that helps to maintain our ecological system for survival.
We are provided with sunlight and nurturing rain that adds to Life's sustenance and growth. We are cleansed and energized by winds and shifting weather patterns and discharges of lightning from the atmosphere.
And on a spiritual and psychological plane, we can rise above the situations in our lives and perhaps get a higher and more inclusive perspective. We can sense the expansiveness, freedom, and unlimited potential of "Sky energy"...
Air and sky energies are also symbolic of the expansion of consciousness as we move beyond the contents of the egoic mind. We may want to focus our mind on positive words or qualities as part of a practice of contemplation. And we can also simply sit with the awareness of what is and move into the silence of Being here... now... in this moment... transcending time and space...
